People say nice things about the Milano Politecnico Bovisa Campus
From Bovisa to Brooklyn
Some people say that Bovisa is the Brooklyn of Milan.Today the district has radically changed its face: from an post industrial to a very young and lively university city proverb. Everything started in the early 90's, when the Politecnico di Milano moved to Bovisa, with the Faculty of Design, Architecture and various courses of the Faculty of Engineering. The Italian funk, jazz band «Calibro 35» captured this lifestyle with it's 2012 album «Dalla Bovisa a Brooklyn».
Good Design goes to Bovisa, bad Design goes everywhere !
The area has gained fame as a design and art «melting pot». This trend was confirmed in 2006, when a new temporary headquarter of the «Triennale Design and Art Museum», dedicated to modern art, was temporarly established in this area. Together with Lambrate and San Babila, Bovisa definitely belongs to one of the hottest emerging addresses of Milano's design scene.
From Piazza Bausan to Navigli
Later in the evening the life in Bovisa gets a lot quieter! If you are hungry for more than just chilling out in the evening in one of Bovisa's bars... Well than just take the Tram N°2 from the nearby Piazza Bausan. This Tram brings you directly to the very heart of Milan's nightlife. Jump out at Navigli - Porta Ticinese or at Duomo and Voilà - Its's Party time !
